Due to the shortage of water resource, seawater desalination procedure has been increasingly popular in many ocean projects. Large scale caissons are the main equipment of the seawater desalination project which required the service life reach to more than 50 years. Therefore the crucial performance of coatings is to prevent the caisson being corrosion damaged in long-term application. SWD seawater desalination caisson special polyurea coating has excellent performance of seawater anticorrosion, soak stable and cathodic disbondment resistant. It has been widely used on many large seawater desalination projects in the China, USA and Australia.
Characteristics
SWD9001 has high reactivity and rapid cure properties which is able to be sprayed forming on any bending surfaces of slopes and vertical side without sagging or falling down problems. The coating film is flexible and insulated water and oxygen with high adhesive strength and cathodic disbondment resistance. It has excellent properties of anticorrosion, waterproof, anti-aging resistance, no peel off, no crack or no powder under long-term seawater immersion conditions.
Application scopes
Anticorrosion waterproof protection of seawater destination caissons, offshore drilling platform, marine terminal and other marine facilities.
