With proper surface preparation, substrate condition, formulation choice, primers, and installation procedures, polyurea goes on fast and stays on long. Polyureas are great for extending the life of older tanks and can offer limited structural characteristics as well. These systems can be applied during primary construction or in a retrofit environment. With their fast cure times they are ideal for retrofit since down time is significantly minimized compared to some competing materials.

2. Characteristics
It is high reactive and rapid cure and able to be sprayed forming on any bending surfaces of slopes and vertical side without sagging or falling down problems. The coating film is flexible, dense and seamless, high adhesive strength with substrate and excellent anticorrosion waterproof properties, no bubbles and peel off during long-term immerse of various liquid conditions. The working temperature could be boiled water in 100 ℃ without deform and cracks but keep high tensile strength, impact resistance and excellent chemical resistance performance.
